well here is my build i have been working on for a little while now.
its a 91 honda crx HF, i bought it for $100 about 5 years ago as a rolling shell.
what it came with for $100
full energy suspension bushing kit
neuspeed front upper strut bar
cusco rear upper
neuspeed race springs
and crx SI seats

so here are a few pictures that i have since i bought it and the different changes it has gone through
my first engine swap B18A1 LS (swap #1)

the donor car 91 acura integra i picked up for $400

running and ready to go for a spin

water 1 - engine 0

that was the end of my first engine swap, i picked up another B18A1 LS engine for $150 and its still going stronge

now these next few pictures are more recent (with in the past 2-3 years)
with new SI front and rear bumpers

i was gonna go turbo a few summers ago but my jeep crapped the bed on me and i didnt have a down pipe or any type of fuel manegment

now for the more recent pictures
mugen replica front bumper with JDM bumper len's

then last august i started to tear apart the crx for a huge rebuild, pretty much from the ground up. the pictures will speak for them self's

i picked up a few parts while doing the build
stainless steel brake lines

JDM headlights and EF7 T-bar (that i still owe tom for)

JDM SIR taillights

blox rear camber kit and rear lower control arm's

it wouldnt be a complete rebuild if i didn't replace any of the old weathers seals.
new rear hatch seal, side quarter glass moldings and windshield molding

new inner mirror plastic's

JDM double switch panel

mugen replica bumper len's covers

crx decals

present day pictures, rocking 2 piece BBS RM's 15x7 with 30mm off set

Sweet ride man. Keep up the good work. Your doing exactly what I am hoping that I can accomplish once I get my CRX. :)
Same here.

Did you have exhaust fitment issues? I'm not sure if it's just the motor mounts I'm using, but my b18a1 header seems to be too far back to mate up with the cat, around 6-8 inches or so. Is it just me, and should I suck it up, or is it the fitment of the b18a1 in an EF/ED?

i used the upper manifold from the integra and the lower part from the crx si pipe. other then that no other fittment issues

Are you planning on getting new struts? The old rusty ones just don't go along with the rest of the build. Other than that its a nice build.

yeah i plan on replacing them in the spring. the front ones are 3 years old and have seen 2 winters and the rear one and so old i cant remember. i might throw in a set of tein coil overs but im not sure yet.

im also gonna rebuild the BBS rs wheels. im gonna have the rims powder coated gold and replace the lips and the bolts that hold lips in place. im also looking into getting another set of rim, im just not sure what i want yet

That makes so much sense. I wish I could afford a second header so I could get my exhaust to mount up now. I guess I'll have to find somebody in MA who can weld stainless to cut back my Integra bottom half. Damn.

Clean REX, I like it. Although I really liked the Fat 5's on the car the best, but thats my opinion.

no i never bought any aftermarket headers, i used the factory b18 upper and factory d16 lower to get it to fit. on the 90-91 integra lower pipe there was a factory extension that connected the cat to the manifold, you could try to find one of those to get it to work or just have an exhaust shop make an adapter for you instead of having the header cut up and refabracated

I did have a factory manifold, but tossed it because it was just too far rusted. I'll just head up to NH and break out the plasma cutter and welder there. Shouldn't take long, it's just a pain in the ass because I have to find a ride there and back.
