i just put a brand new distributor,cap,rotor,coil and my car ran fine and started with no problems for a whole day then all of a sudden i started my car then when i shut it off it wouldnt start again

This may sound stupid but did you check all your connections like your battery the plugs that go into it and the two harnesses.. always look for the little things first

yes i checked all that but im not getting any spark

maybe ignitor failed on you.

Pull the connectors apart, spray with brake cleaner for a second, blow it dry with compressed air, re connect, start away. had this problem, bunch of crud was in the connector. Also might be a loose wire, make sure each connector of the disty is snug into the connector
