My New Exhaust !!!!!

Well for those of you that read my previous posts about me getting a Spoon N1 axle back........ well ummmmmmmm, I didnt get it :( I dont know why but I jus had a change of heart.... and there it was calling my name, a TYPE ONE cat back !!! Woooo Hooo, I had it installed and drove off with this titanium tip beuaty. The sound is the best I have ever heard - its loud (without the silencer) and has a very deep sound - awesome jus awesome.

The only problem I am having with this TYPE ONE cat back is that my short throw shifter is hitting the B pipe and its pissin me off !! (vibrating alot). Another problem is that it doesnt fit into my buddy club rear bumper too well, its off to one side of the semi circle on the bumper - as a result the bimper is vibrating.

Overall - I am too damn happy with my purchase.

Has n e 1 even heard of the Type One exhaust ????
I had not until I went to the shop and saw it. Its known in Japan (Japanese company) - but I've never heard of it here or seen it around, not even in SuperStreet or n e thing like that.

Let me know........

:gokuf3: :ken:
I have never heard of it...Do you have any pics?
congrats man, glad you're happy ;)
ghost
i never heard of type one be4...hook it up with some pics!
I don't know if anyone has asked this but do you think you could post some pics?
;)
honestly i think youre full of ........... :)
So far the best exhaust I have heard was the Tanabe Medalion. I have never heard of that exhaust system.

Isn't there a way to fix the short shift problem?
I've never heard of it either, and after searching around for it I could find no such exhaust for a car. Are you sure it wasn't Made in JAPIN? Cause the only Type One I found was for a motorcycle, unless the mounted a motorcycle muffler on your car
Gimme like a week to get some pics up. The shop I go to sells ONLY top of the line Japanese stuff (remember this is the shop that refuses to sell 5 Zigen fireballs cuz they're "poor quality" - they sell the miricle fireball though). The only exhausts they had for my car is the Spoon N1 and this Type One. The company is called Type One Racing and yes it is a Japanese company. Not all Japanese companies are mainstream in N. America. Their site is under construstion @ www.typeoneracing.com. Its a light weight catback with a Titanium tip. I like the sound - especially at lower RPMs. Its definitly not for the ppl who like the "racing sound." Everyone of us likes a certain sound - some diff than others - this is the one that I like :D

The only two ways I can fix the prob with my short throw shifter is to put the stock one back in (nooooooooooo way) or put in a DC Sports shifter which does not hang down as low :D

Don't worry; I thought those new Street Fighter/Dragonball Z animations were kinda cool, too. ;)
Titanium ?

96.... I know of one dealer in the states that has a titanium exhuast for a 9. I have one on my 9. let me know where yours is from, we gotta stick togehetto
I got mine from A&J Racing, up here in the Vancouver area.

www.aj-racing.com
I have heard of it....

I think that type 1 is a branch of spoon sports. There was a small article about them it one of the last couple Super Streets.

And for you people that said he was full of shit, give it a rest. Everyone does not know everything about every product. Just cause someone knows or has something that kicks ass and you never heard of, does not mean it does not exist.

Sounds like you got a great exhaust. How much? Try to get some pics if it is posible.

Later,

Thanks BPP :D , yea that would make sense since the majority of the products in the store are Spoon.
I got it for $850 (cdn.) so thats about $530 american for the catback, installed.
The guys I got my exhaust from have the type one stickers on their show and race cars which are always featured in urbanasian (obviously have type one products on their car too). I doubt they would wanna have a crappy product on their car if they're bringing home trophies every time.

Getting a pic up, I dont know wut good that will do cuz its hiddin behind my Buddy Club rear bumper, the tip doesnt stick out which sucks (but good to hide it from the cops). But i'll try - i've never posted pics up here, im not sure how.

Thas funny 5zigen is shitty..lmao, just goes to show how well there r&d department is. I dont know anything about type 1 and dont care if they carry a name off spoon or whoever. For someone to say 5zigen is bad doesnt know imports and apparently never has been to japan or seen an import show. I think that exhaust is a copy of the c one exhaust from japan, actually yea it does..Id make sure there not pushing your buttons cuz, most companies that stand behind there product will actually imprint there name on the exhaust. Also dont know how true this is but i never saw a japanese exhust crome/stainless/shiny b-pipe, i knwo apex-i does it and so does jic magic, but they are moving away from it for heat reasons. Just my feeling, but let me see some up close pics of it, cuz the ones from the link werent all that good.
