After a few months of saving, I finally got the suspension...

I got H&R sport springs, and KYB/AGX struts

Everything should be on in about two days :D

I thought I would put the a picture up of my car before she goes down :D

Oh shit you fucked... H&R, are bouncing like shit... you gonna regret it... my friend got those on his GSR... and he was mad.. and you should have gotten yellow...
I have been in a Si with my exact setup, it rode very smooth, and it didn't bounce. I don't know what was wrong with your friends ride, but something was wrong.

I didn't have enouigh to buy the yellows, and the KYB/AGX'S are good enough for what I need...

what are you talking about man??? h&r's are one of the best springs out there.
either your friend used them with the wrong strut or he forgot to trim the bumpstops.

The springs said not to trim the bump stops with the sports.

ok. i know the h&r and neuspeed springs are the basically the same. so my friend has neuspeed sports and tokico blues on her 2001 gsr. now the instructions said not to cut the bump stops.
so i didnt, and it rode like shit. every medium to high bump it would bottom out. i took them off and i cut off the first 2 nothces off. guess what it rides awesome and it handles the same in turns. and now you dont have to be afraid of hitting a bump at
100mph in a turn and loose control.
now on to my car. i got the neuspeed race springs with koni yellows. the instructions also said not to cut/trim the bumpstops.
so i didnt. and guess what?? there was basically no suspension travel. the car sat on the bump stops. i dont know about you but i dont cosider that safe. so i took it off again and cut off the first notch. now i have a lil more suspension travel and its perfectly safe. actually its safer than before.

Thats odd, cause my friend has an Si with my exact setup and he didn't trim them, and it rides great...

my friend's gsr seems a lil lower in the front than the si.
i dont have any pics tho.

SweetEBPSi....a bump stop is a piece of hard foam. it looks like a cylinder, and it slides on top of you shock rod to keep it from bottoming out. if a shock bottoms out (compresses all the way it can blow). to trim the bump stops means to cut off a lil from the bottom parts. usually up to 1".
i'm sure someone can explain this better. my english is not that great. sorry.

Nice man. How much did that run completely with everything? Who is going to install them for you? Also, since I'm kinda new to the suspension scene, what are bumpstops? What does it mean when you trim them? Thanks.
The whole setup was $620.00 shipped. I am going to do them myself...Well I'm going to try anyway :D

I'll post pictures, I'm doing it tomorrow
