I just found out I have a hole in my flex pipe. Since I was thinking of buying a full exhaust I figure what better time than now. Does anyone know of any cheap non-universal exhausts for the Sol? I don't just need a cat-back system, but the piping from the headers all the way back. Any help would be appreciated.

well the cat is right after the header on a Sol and then the piping back. So if you eed the piping from the header back then you need a full cat-back. If you're gonna get an exhasut get a full cat exhasut: liek Tanabe or GRedyy or CD Sports or Apexi. those exhasut are more $$ than universal but dsound a lot better and they're better cuz they're vehicle specific. Most exhasut systems are gonna go for approx $400~$500 give or take. (at least the good ones).........Good luck!!

i'm gonna get trashed for this one but,,,,, just from other research....

i've heard pretty decent things about pacesetter cat backs. alot of people on other boards who have done MAJOR shit to their cars love the sound and the price (<$200). They're not stainless steel, but i'm sure with a high temp rustcoating treatment. they'll probably last a while. Not too shabby considering a Greddy costs almost 3x that! Think of it as a disposable exhaust...

One guy on another board is running 14's in an accord sedan with Pacesetter..... on this particular board, he's considered a HondaGod (he's putting an F22 (s2K engine) into the accord. (the engine rotates the opposite way, but he's got a system and he's doing it anyways)

I haven't tried them so I can't say for sure, but alot of people on other boards have spoken alot higher about them than I would have expected considering you can buy these from PepBoys and the sub $200 price. They did however notice that the power gains weren't quite up to the Greddy/APEXI/Tanabe levels, but it was only off by 1-3 hps. If you don't dig the yellow trim, ceramic paint will take care of that.

just my meager $0.02 worth. you can start making fun of me now if you wish......

the Accord is the F22 motor. And I believe the S2000 is the E20 plus it's rear wheel drive. It'd be cheaper to buy an S2000 than to swap the motor into an accord.
