I just tried to install a pioneer cd player in my 96 prelude, after i hooked it up, i turned on the car and it didnt get any power.

I also noticed my clock didnt come on when i started the car.

I removed the cd player and reinstalled the factory cassette. The factory stereo gets power, but the clock is still not working.

Why didnt the cd player work and how can i get power back to my clock.

By the way i have a type S

any blown fuses? theere is a fuse that controlls the clock/radio together. make sure you have the power wire hooked up right in the harness, and also a good ground.
