late yesterday i started smelling electric burning smell. i didn't think anything of it because i just got done putting a svt focus to shame(so i was feeling good because really hadn't raced in a while). battery light came on driving to work this morning and the smell is getting worse. smell is definitely coming from alternator. i had sprayed belt dressing on the belts late wednesday, i tried not to get any in alt, but does it sound like i got some on it. if so, is the alternator fried or can i go buy some of that electrical contact cleaner and save it? or should i shop for alt now?
I'm gonna be pissed if this is all my fault.

my baby died on the way home from work today, batt only had 9v on it when i got to autozone. made it all the way to right around the corner from my house, aint that a bitch? i knew i was in for it when the radio suddenly stopped working and the wipers barely even moved. yeah, alternator's trash it's the original from 91. a new one might actually spice up the look under the hood even though the damn things trapped underneath everything. but at least i found a replacement for only 50 bucks. i'll be having fun with that monday.

i'll prob find some more bad shit from 1991 that needs replacing, this 50 dollar escapade will turn into a thousand before you know it. thank goodness for zero percent credit cards.
