I just had my radiator go out in my 99 integra and was wanting to know what would be a better choice buy the same stock radiator or put an aftermarket one on

aftermarket aluminum radiator...more cooling capacity and they are as much as a oem radiator..oem type r radiator from acura $450.00, my griffin aluminum radiator $300.00...under high stress situations the oem radiators tend to split at the top seem on the radiator...that will not happen on an all aluminum piece plus it looks better and like I said your engine will cool much easier as a matter of fact the faster I drive the colder my temp gets :D

Personally, when ever stuff breaks on my car...

It's upgrade time!!

I would go with an aftermarket radiator, but make sure you get a new temperature sensor installed. I have heard that you can damage your engine if the fluids in it get too cold.

Aftermarket is cheaper and more efficient, also looks bettter. Got a fluidline cheaper than a stock, I think from jegs. it leaves a lot of room in front of the headers too
