I've been looking for info on this. Local parts guy wants to argue his infinite knowledge to me about what motor I have. I can read but don't have time to go through 30+posts of guys bitching at each other on some unrelated & overly technical subject. Post a link to a parts website or forum post is all I'm ask in for. Or if another motor uses the same starter let me know. I bought a little project few weeks ago & burnt out the starter cause I didn't know the gas gauge was broken and it was out of gas. I'll be proud to admit I had an idiot moment too so flame away I don't care just need my starter . Thanks if u can

Just drove the car the other day, forgot all about the starter deal. Would the d16y7 starter fit a JDM d15b? Thats pretty much all I need to know. I'm not big on Honda tech but I know the motor in the Haynes manual is not the same one in my car. Plus the guy I bought the car from showed me the order ticket from tiger motors. I could run some scrap yards & get one cheap if I know what fits.

After searching for something totally unrelated, I found all d series starters to be the same. Although auto & manual trans may be unique to themselves. Hope this helps some else one day, thanks to every forum user for posting useful & hilarious info. Flame on
