I've seen some Neons where you just see the glow on the ground. And I've seen them where the stick is clear as day.

Which do you prefer?

I have no intentions to add neons, just think seeing the sticks along the side skirts of cars looks tacky!!

I think you should not see the stick you should just see the glow. I mean isn't that why everyone wants neon is the glow.

well some people don't have the spots under their car where you can hide the neon tubes so it gets bolted to the chassis of the car.....unfortunately from a distance you can see the tubes

You don't want to see the tubes. This presses legal issues. Supposedly (don't hold me to this), colored lights on your car are street legal as long as the light is red, amber, or white. An underbody light SHOULD be street legal as long as you can't see the light itself. That is, it could be any color of the rainbow as long as you didn't see the light itself. Ambient light cast of the road shouldn't be an issue. This isn't to say that cops won't stop you, however.
