Hey everyone, I just purchased a 2000 Honda Civic Si and I have a few questions for all of you. Here are a list of mods I am planning on within the next few months. I would just like to know if they are the best company to go with for that product.
AEM cold air intake
DC sports short shifter
DC sports fuel rail
DC sports strut bar
DC sports Lower tie bar
DC sports 4-2-1 header
Greddy Evo Exhaust
Ground Control Coil Overs
Power Slot Rotors
Moroso Plug wires
Jet ECU upgrade
APEXi Digital VTEC-AFC
Tenzo R Passion 5 17x7 (White)
Kumho 205/40ZR17

Well there is my list so far. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance. Later

Everything looks good to me, I mean there are other companies out there, but DC, and Greddy are very good companies.

Make sure you get a good set of struts along with the GC coilovers.

Also make sure you have a plan for what you want in the future. Really think about what you want to accomplish with your car. Are you going to be happy with what those mods will offer? Or are you gonna want more?
I am going to go FI this summer so I am not going to buy an intake, or a header until I know what I want to do for sure. Don't spend your money on mods, until you are sure of your future plans. You will save lots of money.

If I were you I would do the suspension first. That way you have more time to think about what your plan will be.

Welcome to sho, and good luck.

i have nothing against the DC short shifter, but i'd recommend a Skunk2 or B&M first...

he's right get some good Tokico or Koni shocks with those ground control coil overs, i'm in the process of finding a good price also.

add a greddy turbo to that list :)

I like my DC 4-2-1 but have been hearing alot of really good things about the Edelbrock pro-flow header, also a 4-2-1. Are you gonna go all motor? If so I would reccommend a nice 4-1 rather than 4-2-1. Try a JDM ITR header or a DC JDM 4-1. As for the Short Shifter, I would also reccommend the Skunk2, only because my friend had a DC and he broke it, I haven't had any problems with my Skunk. But of course, my friends experience is only one, most people tend to like their DC, but I do like my Skunk as well. Other than that, looks like a good list. I also got the Powerslot rotors with AEM pads. Gonna put them in this week and I will let you know how I like them. Don't think you are gonna need SS brake lines though, unless you do a lot of racing like autocrossing. They do look good, but aren't necessary for everyday driving, and aren't visible from outside the car anyways.

And v00tecsi, I don't think the Skunk2 shortened my height. Maybe a little, but nothing too drastic.

Good luck with your ride CivicSi00Racer. Hope this helps a little.

don't forget that the collector is a different size from stock so you have to get a new cat as well if you go that route. hence the reason I went with the DC 4-1, almost as good, no new cat.
