It's not necessary, but it is very nice to have. The Jacob's NMM retards timing when you are spraying, shuts off the nitrous if your fuel pressure falls, shuts off nitrous at a predetermined rom, which you should set just below your fuel cut, and it flows nitrous proportionally to your rpm.

but remember I told you so... the gauges and laptop look alot better than a stupid black box with CB radio knobs!
Who really cares how it looks? This isn't FnF. The JNMM costs $225 from Summit racing and it does the job right.

After you arm the nitrous with a switch in the cockpit, then you activate the nitrous with a WOT switch. When you are not at WOT, nitrous will not spray. The JNMM does have a rev limiter, which will shut the nitrous off before you hit the fuel cut.

WHO cares?? Well, I care about looks.. That's who! And are you saying YOU can't do the job right???

What.... .you gotta have somebody else tune the shit for you?
I think I accidently triggered one of your buttons, but you deserve a reply, so here we go. I forgot tht I was on SHO, so I'll drop the "Who cares how it looks?" part. I consider nitrous a good way to go fast for less money and less hassle than turbo or SC. Throwing a laptop and computer programs in the mix seems like an unnecessary hassle and expense to me.
You still have to tune the JNMM. What I was saying is that the JNMM does roughly the same thing as the lap top and computer program, but it does it in a simpler and cheaper fashion.
I don't really care about your mod list. What do you run in the 1/4 mile?

If you check with the muscle car drag guys (world's best N2O experts), you will find that progressive controllers have a really bad rep with them.

My .02
I talked to a couple domestic owners when I was planning my set up. One guy said that he hated NOS noids, but he was running a 200 shot. Another guy said that he saw 5 JNMMs mess up on some domestic cars at the track. I think that it's the big shots that these guys use that is damaging the noids and JNMMs. I was thinking of going dual stage once I get an engine build, but on a 75 shot I have faith in the noids and JNMM.

The 93 octane part will be tricky. You will need some cold plugs and a ton of ignition retarding. How often do you plan on spraying? I guess the easiest way to find out how much you can run, is to jet a DP kit at 100 on 93 octane and work your way up until you start detonating. Then just go down a shot. For anything higher than that shot fill up with track gas and jet it at 200.
