i'm planning on getting a NX kit for my accord, its an automatic by the way. mods are listed. what would be a safe shot level so when used correctly, hopefully, i wouldn't have to worry about my motor or tranny going out to soon?

What you Need to do first before geting the system at all is change out the stock platnum spark plugs and buy eithersome Denso IK20 or regular NGK. I am spraying a 75 shot for a while now so you should be alright just don't over do anything, use it in moderation. AND ONLY at WOT. If there is anything I left out fe freee to add on. There are a lot of DO's and Don't's. As for prepping your car just make sure you change your plugs and yo should be fine

To clarify, you need one step colder than stock copper NGKs. You should be able to spray up to a 75 shot.

For a 50 shot you just need plugs.
For a 75 shot you can run on just plugs and an ignition. Other goods like a bottle heater, nitrous gauge, fpr, fuel pressure gauge and Jacob's nitrous mastermind are also nice to have, but not necessary.

Basic nitrous rules and maintenance:
1. Don't spray for more than 15 seconds at a time.
2. Use 1 step colder plugs(NGK copper) or Zex plugs.
3. Check all of your plugs after every run.
4. Wait at least 15 minutes between runs.
5. Don't spray in 1st or last gear.
6. remeber: Idiots blow motors, not nitrous.
7. Only spray above 3000 rpm
8. Don't go past redline, if you hit the fuel cut your engine will hate you.

The 75 shot should kock off a bit over a second from your ET.

your aftermarket ecu might cause trouble with your nitrous. reprogram your ecu or get a different ecu to accomdate for the nitrous. also, you want to retard the timing of your cam gears.

Yeah, that Jet chip is going to make life for your pistons rough if it advances the timing.

You aren't going to want to run nitrous on your car unless you can find a way to retard your timing with the Jet chip installed. If you find out how many degrees the chip advances timing and then retard your timing via the ignition you should be fine. I don't know what an accord runs just knock a second off of your current ET. It's simple subtraction.
