car: integra LS turbo built internals

I was wondering if 550cc injectors and apex safc with vortech fmu and walbro 255 lph fuel pump will be suffice for running 18 psi at the track.

i don't want to get hondata cuz i will only be running about 8 psi on the street and i also don't have 1200 bucks to blow.

If anyone could give me some advice for fuel managment or whatever, that would be great...

Thanks :D

Your personality on this board has seriously got to change... rather than saying that you could have said, "370cc injectors on a t-60, jesus man, how much did he spend on tuning, what other mods? does he habe a possibly fuel map curve chart i could see?"

seriously dude, you make more friends by being nice than being an ass. no offense but please thinkg before you type. Im just trying to help you out in the long run. Also, people tend to take your posts more seriously when you go in with a nice attitude, not some meat head hopped up on steriods always pissed off approached. ;)

i see no reason that SoFlaGS-T has to lie in the forum... what for? then others will build up a false image of what his car is running, so possible help he may need later would be affected....

i will admit i dont even have a car atm... having sold my last one when i moved to taiwan... im looking at a civic, but still deciding between a 95 hatch or a 96 2-door....

im not saying he's lying but 370cc injectors on a 60-1 turbo seems like they'd be running at 100% peak and hold or saturation , how will the rest of the engine get anything how does it make enough exhaust backpressure to spool a turbo with such little amount of fuel? I was just wondering how its done because frankly i'd like to know how! and there is a difference between 60-1 and T60 honda115

I mean the mazda / nissan engines I see with 60-1s here in tokyo have at least 550cc injectors with a set of larger secondaries. the nissans are larger than the Honda motors and the mazdas are smaller, so it pretty much fills up the displacement spectrum, i just wanna know how its done

oh and 95prelude the 60-1 HiFi turbos w/ cartridge are 1500 ball bearing & big shaft. the 60-1 big shaft w/ qtrim is about 2000

Anything is possible, I know someone who ran up to 17lbs on 270cc injectors. Personally, I wouldn't try it in a million years. But, back to the point. Don't even think about running 18lbs without proper tuning via Hondata, DFI, haltec or AEM especially on 550cc's. The stock computer isn't calibrated to except injectors that large. You should be running more like 720cc's for 18lbs to stay within 80% duty cycle and proper fuel pressure.

DR DREW and everyone

In case nobody did the calculations to figure everything out. At an 80% duty cycle a set of 4 340cc injectors are rated for 172.69hp and at 100% duty cycle would rate at 215.87hp. Where as a 550cc injector would rate 279.36hp at 80% with 349.2hp at 100%.
this is from another board....

is this true? i would think that 550cc's would be able to handle atleast more horse power than that at 80% duty cycle...

what do you think?

im thinking about doing the "afc" hack myself... have you guys heard of this? like you rewire you s-afc to some different wires, and you run some DSM 450cc injectors, change the settings on the AFC and your car runs REALLY smooth, like that of a stock turbo hcargered car...

I think someone made some posts a while back abou twhat settings to use... if anyone knows what to do, go ahead and tell me ;)

It really depends on the CFMs that the tubro flows @ what RPm and has to do a lot w/ compressor flow maps. Just depends. Good Luck.
