NOOOOOO!!!

My PS2 is freakin wiggin out on me....Let me know if this has happened to any of you.

When I put the PS2 in its vertical postion the screen is ingulfed in squiggly lines like crazy when I watch DVD's or play games..its annoying..so I am sending it in to be fixed ( I HOPE )!! Anyone have the same problem!??

mine just stopped playing disks..i sent it in..waiting to get returned...i wouldn't send it to sony though..they charge too much and take too long..look online for a place to fix it

A lot of the 1st gen ps2's have glitches like that. If it continues you should see if sony will let you trade it in for a new one, if your warranty is still valid.

ya mine would have like all kinds of disk errors and can not read disks so i got pissed and got it cleaned not it never happends.

Yeah the new ps2 v4 has a lot of upgrades you could say to help ot play dvd video back better.

The earlier ps2's did have some problems....

I finally got it back a few days a ago. They just gave me a New one..hopefully all is well.

yea that happened to me too, i was soo mad!! but they didnt send me a new one they just fixed mine!
