yeah cause wires just fallout all the time :nuts and I wouldn't exactly call it easier to get to compared to taking out the vss and replacing it. especially since thats the problemHave you taken a lookk behind your gauge cluster to see if all the wires are plugged in? I know this sounds dumb, but check the easiest stuff first...
Do the other gauges work properly, gas temp, RPM's?
oh and vtec works fine without a speedometer, it won't work without the rpm.
