I just bought this 2005 CRV, drove it for a few days now, everything seems to be fine. The only thing I have noticed is that when I make tight turns like steering wheel turned all the way, the front wheels (I think it's the tires) seems to make this squeak noise and feels like they are skipping a little. I can feel it in the steering wheel. It reminds me of my car which had posi-tracking rear end and wheels would skip trying to stay at the same speed.

Is this something anyone has experienced? I don't know if that's expected, but I don't think it's normal for a CRV?

Thanks.

You need to replace your rear differential fluid. This should be done every 30K miles or two years.

If you DIY buy 2 quarts of Honda Dual Pump II OEM fluid. It's easy enough to change, just drain & fill. Other diff fluids don't have the correct friction modifiers for the diff clutches.
