We will have an article on this soon. And no its not the all out fix. It actually makes it somewhat harder for some to grab if you cut the stick too short.

The adapter is what you want if you want true short shifting , the cutting of the knob simply adjusts the height to suite your arm better.

I took off maybe 4 threads....any more and i could see it would make my arm have to sit up on the console more , then being able to angle my arms towards it....and i would have to lean more to get my shoulder closer so i could reach. Which would be harder to use.....

looks sweet. if i were to go all out with a short shifter, i would get the C's short shifter...only available from www.takakaira.com and the price is listed in japanese yen...i only know of one person who has one and he says nothing can compare to the feel of the shifter. costs $275

I've chirped 5th gear only once..Try doing that....All I have is Intake, Exhaust, ACT clutch and lightened flywheel. I had my stock wheels on with some bald tires and somehow I was able to chirp 5th gear. It wasn't big, but you could hear it...This happened about a year ago

i can pretty much spin most of my gears now but thats only cause my tires are so incredibly shitty. on good, dry pavement my tires dont even screech...they just sit there and spin without making noise. really weird...

im sure if i got new tires i could barely chirp 2nd :(
