obd 1 or 2

Does a 96 integra have the obd 1 or 2 chip?

1996 was the first year for the OBD II, so yes it does have OBD II
would it make a differecne if i changed the chip to obd 1? what would happen and whats the differecne between 95 and 96 integras? :D

OBD II has tighter restrictions on emissions. Converting to OBD I will get you a little more power because they were more leniant on how much your car was allowed to emit in 95. You can buy an intake manifold kit from Skunk2 that comes with an OBD II to OBD I conversion.
You mean the intake manifold comes with a obd1

Couldn't you just buy the obd 1 ecu and plug it in plac eof the obd 2 ecu?

You have to buy a harness for it to work, I beleave skunk2 makes them.
The OBDII has a second oxygen sensor in the exhaust.
