OBX DTM Muffler and CAI

Sup guys I'm about to buy a used OBX DTM Muffler from my friend for $60 bux. Does anyone have experience or heard anything about OBX DTM? Then I'll go to a local muffler shop to have them do a custom pipe for me. Should I take off the high flow resonator and allow more air to flow freely? How about the catalytic converter? Will this mod pass the smog inspection?

Also, which cai would perform best with this setup? AEM, INJEN ? Some people say they are just sold for their names and I can just buy a generic cold air intake or something. Is this true? If so, do the ones from ebay work? Thanks for your opinions.

ive never used that exhaust but from what your saying i think its going to be really loud. if thats what you want then go for it. i would say get a full cat back but i know its expensive. as for the cat removing it is illegal and you wouldnt pass smog.
I would say get the AEM, im a believer in quality products. they dyno all there intakes so its guaranteed to give you increased performance.
