I have a 97 Accord and I am planning on getting an H22 next week and slapping on a turbo in a few months. I have the OBD II F22B1. I heard that the OBD II has two O2 sensors and the OBD I has one O2 sensor. When I get the swap, will it need to be an H22 with an OBD II as well or could I get an OBD I H22?

It all depends on what year your H22a is. If It is a 96 and above its obd2 if its 95 and below its obd1. Im not sure if this helps, butif you can choose Id get obd1. Or just stick with what you had. Oh yeah check the ECU whatever year your ecu is then thats what you get.

It's federal law that the engine you swap in your car must be the same year or newer than the car. So you have to get a 97 or newer h22. If you have inspection, this is important. If you don't have to worry about inspection, it's up to you if you want to be legal or not.
