Alright, I have a 99 Civic EX (OBD2) and I'm interested in converting into a OBD1. I've searched around but I couldn't find anything except that I've read OBD2 cars get minimal gains from i/h/e. Is this true?! Well anyways, I just want to know how much would it cost to convert into an OBD1 and where can I get it for a reasonable price.

First of all. It is illegal to convert an odb2 car to odb1. You shouldn't be able to pass inspection.

If you choose to do it anyways. Get and odb2->odb1 conversion harness. I believe that skunk2 makes them and several others as well. Then just throw in a hondata stage 2 or something while you are at it.

Based on your sig, I don't think that converting to odb1 is worth the effort unless you have big plans for a turbo or a swap and some serious NA work down the road.

it depends on which state you are in as far as the legality of a OBD conversion. I would seriously do some reading as far as what your state laws say and don't say.

if ya want to do the conversion, hit me up.
I can hook ya up with a conversion diagram for the ECU.
All you have to do is pick up the plugs and wire it yourself. (save some serious $$ that way)
