I am wondering what the best oil would be for a 2000 LS integra...

I think the place has been putting in 5w30, but I was under the impression 10w30 would be better for my climate here in Texas...

anyone know what HONDA recommends??

Use 10W30. American Honda continuously reccommends thinner and thinner oils to comply with corperate average fuel economy standards. Thinner oils do not protect the engine as well. Because they change oils and coolants without changing the engines, I do not care what coolant or oil American Honda reccommends. It's green coolant and 10w30 for me.

I think I will try 10w... I just don't really see a good reason for 5w here.... BUT that's because I've run 10w in all my other honda/acuras in the past, but had just noticed they're putting 5w in this one.
