Every month? Damn thats overkill unless you drive your car 8 hours a day.

The OEM filter is fine.
fram is good. so is oem. either way you dont need to change your oil every month.
I was not able to get the OEM last oil change. Still on there as we speak. I plan to go with the Fram that has the rubber grip on the end next oil change.

And why do you cahnge the oil every month? How can you afford it?
i heard not to get the fram that they are horrible and that dirty oil leaks in with the bad. i'd go with a mobil 1, ac delco duraguard, purolator pure-one, or last bot not least OEM.
its every 4k mile you change your oil right? I do about a grand a week :( unfortunately because of my job, I'm an on-site copier technican, but they also pay me 12.50 and hour and expenses so :p they compensate my baby :D
if it's highway then every 4k should be ok if it's tri-synthetic. but i always change mine every 3k. sometimes 2500 if i'm in a lot of stop and go traffic or i ran it hard.
i've been using Purolator Pure1 for the past 4 years.
first i used in my Isuzu and for the past 2 years in my civic.
Fram isn't really the best. Its what most people buy though. It's got cardboard ends... Does that sound like a good filter?
i use the Fram Double Guard oil filter with Teflon in it. It costs about $10 or $11.

Fram is pretty popular. That is why I figure they can't be too bad. In all the automotive stores as well as Wal-Mart

I've seen quite a few oil filters, and the Fram looks cheaply made compared to the others(Cardboard Ends?!?). Now if you change your filter every 3k miles, then It'll be fine, but I'd probably get something else.
