I got the game 2 days ago... due to it's early shipping to import store. But need to say this game is really fun and my hands are pretty tired even I'm still in the early stages of the game... :p

First, the game is a continuation of the 1st Onimusha Warlord. But you start off with the new character name Yagyu Jubei, he return to his home town and found it was destory by Nobunaga Oda who appeared in part 1 in undead form. Jubei is going to take revenge and to hunt down Nobunaga Oda.

The differences between this second installment compare to the first was the enhanced graphics and gameplay. First the graphics are more refine and indepth, the detail of the surrounding are much better compare to the first one. Example like you can see bugs walking up the trees in the background while inside the forest, the detail of distanced objects are higher to improve the overall looks of the game. The gameplay is better, you got more then just fighting. You have to walk around and ask people things, kinda like Action RPG, you can go to a store and buy stuffs, like equipments for you allies, yes, you got friends, and they help you in the game, in different sequence they come tag along with you and fight with you! You also can buy some unique items to make them happy and trade you with powerup or healing items. There are total of 5 weapons in this game instead of 4. The difficulty of the game is harder IMO, it take more skills to beat some monsters, many old monster from the first game are still in this one, plus additional monsters. One more additional thing is that you can transform to a Onimusha (I think that's what it means) while you get enough of the purple souls...

So overall it's a great game like last one, if anyone like the original Onimusha Warlord, you'll love this game. Onimusha 3 is in the making, I was told that the Onimusha 3 trailer is in Onimusha 2 after you beat the game, I didn't beat it yet so I haven't seen it. I'll let everyone know once I do.

Here are some photos from ign.com... you can check out more like videos there!
