Im going to be putting a couple amps in my 95 civic and i was wondering if an optima battery will fit in the stock battery holder, or will it have to be modified?

look for a company called SVR they have a battery made specifically for civs and tegs... ive got no complaints about it.. its keepin my shit happy... about 1500 watts and 1 cap, so far so good...

Optima Battery

I would put a Optima battery, I have one and it is wonderful. It does not fit my car, so it just sits on top of the stock battery holder. What I am saying is that if it does not fit, I am sure you can mod it to work.

I have one in my diamante with 2 amps a 4 channel alpine flex and a 2 channel phoenix gold zx 600 no cap,and it still puts out. I need to get a cap though.

Get a trunk mounting kit. There only like $60. it's not hard to install either.
