It was offically confirmed in last Sep. Capcom will remake Biohazard (the Resident Evil series is called Biohazard in Japan), Biohazard 2, Biohazard 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil Biohazard Code: Veronica for GameCube. Biohazard O exclusively for GameCube. Biohazard 4 -- which was previously believed to appear on PlayStation 2 -- will only appear exclusively on GameCube as well. Now the time is here. The first BioHazard (Resident Evil 1), will be release for Nintendo Gamecube in March 22th 2002 in Japan.

Personally I saw most of the movie clips and screens shots, they look INCREDIBLE. And warning to all, I think this time is much much more scarier then the previous version!!!

Here are some screen shots.

Why are they haters? The Resident Evil franchise was born on the Sony Playstation. There are four Resident Evil games out there you can play right now including the original RE. Just because they aren't PS2 versions doesn't mean you can't have them. Personally I'm happy to see Nintendo get a mature game like this on their system for a change. They are in very much need of it. This is a remake and a very PRETTY one at that. I own both the PS2 and GC for these kind of reasons. Some really good games just come out for other systems. If you are that mad about it..just get a Gamecube.
WHAT ! no RE4 on PS2 ??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!! F*** GAMECUBE

i personally can't wait for this to come out. vamp, you're right about one thing, it's good to see Nintendo getting a mature game for the system instead of opting for kids only stuff...

personally i'm loving my gamecube, although right now there's not a lot on it i'm interested in, but i'm absolutely addicted to rogue squadron...

ps - check your pm vamp...

Just checked my pm's electric. Check yours. YES.

Anyways....I can't wait for this game. It looks simply AMAZING. I admit that there isn't much for myself on the cbue either, but like you said Rogue Squadron is addictive as well as Super Smash Bros. Those two alone are keeping me pretty busy.
I just bought an unversial gamecube, and my copy of Resident Evil should be here by the end of the month! I can't wait also... :p
btw, the US release now is April 30...
