...Okay, I know this is the N/A forum, but I think people here
might be able to give me better answers to my particular questions.
Anyway, with an 8lb boost pulley upgrade on my
D16Z6, I plan to add SRP pistons, (.010 overbore), and
Crower titanium rods. My main question is: what size injectors
should I go with? The RC people told me 270cc's with 8lbs.
boost, but they told/warned me not to add them with the 6lb
setup, since I'd be way too rich. Didn't think of overboring 'til
later, though, so, I guess a "side" question to my first would
be: would the extra cylinder volume force me to get larger
injectors? And, lastly: would this setup be reliable, (even with
the correct sized injectors)? I don't see a problem with the
pistons/rods, just the thinning of the cylinder walls.
Also, when I checked out RC's flow-rate page/calculator,
270cc injectors are good for at least 220hp at 70% duty
cycle, (10% less than the absolute maximum). I don't
expect to get even close to that with a D16Z6; maybe
160-180? I don't know...just don't want to spend an ass-
load on this, just to have it blowup/fall apart later on.

You mean .05 right? Damn, that sucks. Darton has the setup
I need, I guess, but I'd have to ship the whole block to
their facility, (no "kits" available). Thanks for your help.
I'll probably stick with stock size pistons, unless my next
401K loan is really big. It's $1835.00 for the rods alone.
Damn; have you ever "stepped back" and thought: "HOLY
SHIT! What AM I doing?".

Why yes I have, I am currently investing about $10,000 in a B16A turbo setup but hay a B16A at 1.8 liters and 30 PSI sure will be worth it:)

Well, it's nice to know someone out
there's crazier then me :). Of course, I'm "sticking" with my
D16, and some would say that gives me an edge :D.
