I have a quick question for you integra GSR owners:

I have a 95 GSR that has been overheating (i think) the past couple of days. It usually only happens when the car sits at idle once it has warmed up. The coolant is still green (not burnt), and there is a spoon sports thermostat in the car which should theorettically keep the car cooler than stock. What can I do myself to attempt to figure out what is causing the excess heat? The highest the temp gauge has gone is 3/4 , but every other honda motor that I have ever ran has never gone above less than 1/2.

Please help.
Thanks for any replies in advance.

Yeah, mine's never gone above 1/3 of the way up. How long have you had the thermostat? Make sure nothing's leaking anywhere. Then try flushing and refilling the radiator fluid. That's all I can think of, to do yourself.

I have noticed that the motor ticks alot more (louder) than i am used to also. Is that normal??? This is the first DOHC motored car that I have owned, so i am kinda learning everything all over again. Perhaps the valves need adjustment? I just wish I knew the b18c like i do the d16z.
