This was talked about in another thread but I was looking for a more detailed explanation about how to do so. What grit of sand paper to use, what primer, and where can I get paint? Is there some sort of clear coat to put on top? A how to would be great.
1000 wet sand paper, donot go a lower number on raw plastic
Also heres a trick to this, honda uses recycled plastic, you need to have the proper plastic adheasion, then you can primer it or sceal it them paint it.
the wrong plastic aheasion will just fuck u up. the paint or primer will come off and getting one that says for plastic parts is not going to cut it. theres different types of plastics, like nissan use new plastic but there newer bumpers use a softer plastic while there older 300zx and max use hard plastic. but there new your is recycled.
KIA is new plastic but use the same type of plastic on all there bumpers and moldings.
depends on what brand of paint your going with. It would not cost you much to get a bodyshop to spray them just take them off your self that will save you allmost half of the cost.
