i have an lx accord. can i paint the black skirts? how do i do it? and is it likely to peel?

i'd like to know the answer to this as well, my accord is gold. I think my color will require maybe more coats to match the body than your black car. I had a friend who painted his matte black moldings black, and they looked good and held up nice.

the adhesion promoter is key. I know 3M makes a really good one for plastic, but I don't remember the name or number. You'll want to sand them down, wash them in the bath tub to get all the dust off, then put on the adhesion promoter, the paint, and then he clear coat.

also bull dog makes a really good adhesion promoter, Its called bull dog the bradn :)
