i think the shutter is great, gives a real good sense of speed, the cars look sharp and in focus while the wheels have radial blur and the bg is blurred properly

the subjects are in focus and clear. But getting closer would help, and some quality cars as subjects for the future ;)

but i think you got it down, now go to a race event :p

those are actually really good, aside from the exposure issues in the photos.

what technique did you use to get focus on those cars?
My camera not a professional manual camera so I dont have alot of settings.
I used ISO 300, Shutter speed 1/20, F = 8 and Center AF.

Now I dont understand the difference between the focus settings
1> Metering Mode( Spot,Cneter and multi)
2> Focus (Multi AF, Center AF, 0.5M, 1.0M etc)
I tried all different settings but dont know what to use when and whats the difference

Well to answer some questions...

Spot metering= you pick a spot and meter to it. You determine appature and shutter speed from the one spot.

Center Weighted Metering= the metering in the picture is weighted to the center.

Multi AF my guess is that you can choose a focus point.

Center AF my guess is it just will use the center AF servo.
