Hey Guys
Here;s a quick question and I have heard mixed answers??
1. If its raining hard outside and your car is all wet, and you park your car in your garage...heated or not. Will it make your car rust eventually down the road???
2 If its freezing rain outside and your car is obviously has a coat of ice on it and you park it in your garage...will it eventually rust down the road??
What's your advice on this??

Rust is iron oxide. It is caused when water and oxygen come into contact with bare iron or steel. The formation of rust occurs more quickly in the presence of a salt. Read more here

BTW, salt is not an acid. A salt is the neutral substance left behind when an acid reacts with a base.

If you are concerned about rust, either A) move to California, or B) smear some oil in your wheel wells, up under your quarter panels (the most common place for rust to form on a Honda) - do this every few months or so, and it will help to prevent rust from forming.
