...and I was wondering if it would be an ok idea to put a 94-95ish 5spd prelude tranny in my 92 accord auto, ,, + / - 's
hey guys,
I put up a post askin if AUTO to MANUAL can be done and the answers were all yes only if your a freagin loaded. . .people tellin me it costs thousands of dollars? Is this true?
I actually charge $500 labor The parts needed are gonna cost you about $500 and the tranny will cost you $400 to $500.
You will also need the Pedal assembly (breakand clutch) Rear transmission bracket and engine mount. The entire Hydraulic set up from Master cylinder, Hard line, alll the way to the slave cylinder. The passenger side mount (tranny) will have to be cut and rewelded. don't forget Flywheel and clutch as well. The wiring is relatively easy. Any questions let me know.
dang man. . you can do all this. . . your pretty crazy ( in a good way ) so how much u think it'll all cost in the end to pull off a tranny swap???

Hey, I was wondering, would you happen to know if the custom tranny mount is required for 5th gen accords as well? Because there are a few people that I know, that managed to bolt up the stock 5spd mount. But then again, there are those running custom mounts. What do you suggest? Thanks man. Oh yeah you probably heard this a million times by now, but, congrats on the article, yeah, I'm kinda late, but I just got my SCC, haha.

How much would YOU charge to swap a Prelude SS tranny into a 6th gen Accord?
