Okay, for those that have a noticeable lag at between 2-4k rpms, what air intake system are you running?

I'm trying to figure something out...

homemade, stock piping with a cone filter, my pops says it might be the module inside the distributor, can it?

Yeah the aem causes some lag around that range compared to a short stack , as well as it reduces throttle response.

MY DC felt faster at mid-range over my aem.

I am begining to think that its from the long tube CAI, cause it takes time for the air to move from point A to point B at low rpms, i am going to try with short ram tonight, to see how it goes..

Lag (lack of power) or a hesitation (lack of throttle response)?

I've got a hesitation, and it's on the stock intake. I'm 98% sure it's the TPS.

A little lag with my AEM CAI, but it makes up for it on the top end
