I recently got a new pioneer deck. And whats wierd to me is that there is an illumination wire. Do I plug that with the red wire *power wire*? What does it do? My deck is the p930 going into a Civic 00' Ex.

No, don't hook it up to the power wire. It should be hooked up to the Orange wire on the head unit harness that you should get with the amp.

It's there to dim the display when you turn on your headlights to keep the intensity down at night. This feature can be defeated in the setup menu if you don't want to use it.
