Does anyone know the status of the Philips HID groupbuy. I know Jerry was organizing it, but accord v6 is down and I never received a PM back from him. I'm really looking foward to buying the 4300K kit.

wait a lil..he's still organizing...
Cool, I thought I may have missed it. I want some bad!
is it going to be a philips hid kit or will it just be a generic kit? if its a philips kit for $200-$300 thatll be a hell of a deal. but i dont ever remember anyone saying anything about it being a philips kit.
Is it going to be the 4300k kit? I really hoped it was going to be the 6000k kit. Also where can i get those Aqua Blue HID capsules to change the color of the bulbs?

6000k bulb is very bluish purple and less white. the light output is less than a 4300k bulb, but still considerably better than stock.
which ones are more similar to the xenons on a TL? 6000k or 4300k? peace

Um... I would probably say the 4300K. Mine are the 4300K, which look brighter when I compare it side by side with my brother's 6000K. :)

Sorry, I've never taken pics of mine before.
does anyone have pics of their xenon kits? please post
I think the 4100k's would be the way to go. I mean what's the point in going to HID's if you're not trying to get max. illumination out of them. The higher the number the less light output you have, and then the color changes, and starts to look like street lights.
i think the 4300k bulb is the way to go cause the higher in temperature you go, the more of a color difference you will have. The last thing you want is to be pulled over for purple or blue lights, so the aqua caps are obsolete for me. If im not mistaken, the d2r bulb is the type that we need cause it is made for reflector type housings. Someone on this forum posted pics of a 6000k kit in his accord before SHO was getting revamped and i saved them on my laptop. I posted the pics on AV6 and a lot of people loved the color of the bulbs but were dissapointed by the light output on the ground. If anyone recognizes the pics, speak up . I'll post them as soon as I get home tonight
Blah blah blah

Does it really matte if its 4300k or 6000k?
Its just color!

Well if you guys are like me, kinda blind at night then you will be better off getting the 4300k, cause it produces more light :)

Any ways, for $200-$300 for a Philips HID kit I will be in no matter if its 4300k, 6000k, or even 7000k

I want the 4300K HID kit since I want more light and less attention from local PDs! The blue and purple colors will attract unwanted attention! :sonic:
couple of questions

1. wit da 4300k wha color does it output...and do they look like real xenons?

2. wit da 6000k, is da power of da output really dat weak compared to da 4300k and wha color does da 6000k output? i need to see pics
it isnt just about color .i grew to hate the yellow reflection in the d2r 4100k bulb's you dont want those or you will be dissapointed. make sure if you get 4100k bulb's you get the d2s.
The d2s will give off too much light that you will be blinding people if I'm not mistaken. The D2r bulbs are for reflector housings(TL) and the D2s are for projectors(audi).
