is pioneer premier better than the regular pioneer? the p7400 compared to the p740 looks almost identical . does anyone know the difference? which one has more organic displays =) those are soo nice =P

Usually the difference is high preout voltage, different remote, and Premier's extended warranty.

The main differences between those decks is that the 740 comes with 3 4-volt preouts while the regular 7400 only comes with 2 2-volt preouts. And then you have your Premier's 2 year warranty.

Usually the Premier has a few more bells and whistles plus what Vestax said.

In some cases the Premier model has more display screens than the normal pioneer version.

You can compare specs between the two models on pioneer's web site, however you'll probably have to compare them in person to see if the premier version has more screwwn that the other.
