Ok, I may sound stupid, but here goes. I just replaced both CV axles in my 1992 Honda Civic LX. The popping noises when turning are now gone, but I'm still getting a popping noise from somewhere in the middle of the front of my car. Does it sound like a problem in the axle between the CV joints? What could this racket be? Thanks in advance for any help....

did you make sure the axles were all the way into the trans, that would cause popping i the center
