Ok i am deciding whether or not to buy an 1989 CRX hf. It isnt that simple though, the rex is and automatic, white with a small amt of rust around the rear fender ( like Ussual ) the car has only 175 000 km on it. The interior has been well looked after, what do you guys thinik it is worth, he asking 2500 (can) i am planning to do a b16a1 engine swap, in it, can it be easily done in an auto or is this just a rip off and a waste of time??

auto to manual swap isn't impossible, but you'll run into a lot more headaches then if it were manual to begin with. if you're definitely going to swap (and you want manual anyway), why not just get a rex that's already manual and an engine that is in the end of it's life so as to not spend as much money..

if u can get the price down get it but if not find a manual car its easier to swap and it might be cheaper
