Did the 3.61 update at 10pm tonight. Took about 15 mins. Had to create a new password to access the PSN. The store was down but online gaming, messaging, etc. are back up.
I saw 216 online too, so the update and renewal of service appears to cover a large part of the continent as I'm in SoCal and he's in Ohio.
Jumped in some good ol MW2 and had a fun handfull of games. Lobbies were stable but migrated a few times as only about 15,000 were playing. I'm sure the peer-to-peer hosting will get better as more peeps return to the PSN.
