Hey, is that quaife lsd any good? I heard they have a heating and weight problem. Would you guys go with the quaife or kaaz?

By the way i have 95 gsr if you catch that.

drag racing? no question or doubt - quaiffe is king

autocross or road racing or lapping? 1.5 way Cusco or ATS clutch type LSD

the Kaaz (which I have) is a 2 way clutch type LSD and understeers the car way too much. You can get a 1.5 way conversion for the Kaaz but it costs more.

Clutch type LSDs need special 90 weight GL 5 gear oil and friction modifier.

you know that the Kaaz needs 30 minutes of breaking in by doing figure 8's don't you?

yeah, heard about the 30 min fig 8 for kaaz.
I was just concerned about the heat problem with the quaife and want to make sure i get the best bang for my buck.

Don't they come with a lifetime warrenty? If so then why would you even worry about it breaking if it'll be replaced for free?
