i just bought a '94 prelude vtech last week and i want to replace the speakers. i have 6.5's to put in the doors. i also have a spare pair of 6x9's that i was considering trying to get in the rear deck. is this a good idea, or should i stay with 6.5's in the rear too?
if it takes 6 1/2 stock
then youll have to cut the deck and panel to make 6x9's fit so unless u can and dont mind it then go for it--if not go with the
6 1/2s
Since you have such a small cabin volume I would say skip the rear speakers totally. Stick a nice set of comps up front, maybe put an amp to them, nuff said. Rear fill is not really something to worry about.
Yeah he's right, you really don't need rear fill. Just use your front speakers and put some power to them. That's about all you'll need. If you really want the rear fill though, then use the 6.5s. They'll sound better than the 6x9s.
