Hi i 'm about to do a swap and turbo at the same time into my EK civic coupe. I have b18b with turbo kit... i plan on pushing 8pounds AT MOST but like 6 pounds daily driven.. Will i be foolish to not get an LSD at the time of install since it will already be out of the car? also is a ligtened flywheel that much of a neccesity on a b18b.. especially if going turbo?

both are not totally necessary if your just gonna be boosting low and your car isnt gonna see any hardcore action. the lsd will lower your 0-whatever time, by sending equal power to both front wheels. and a lightened flywheel, i've never had experience with, maybe someone else can help you with that.

Neither are necessary! The lighened flywheel will make your car rev quicker which will get you into boost faster. I'd go as light as 7-8lbs, anything lighter will make launching difficult! The LSD will help with traction but only to a certain extent. Once you make enough power you'll just overcome the LSD and both wheels will spin like mad. I'd but everthing together and see how you like it before you spend $900 on something like a Quaiffe LSD. Good luck w/ you project:D
