Question about the bottom of your gsr short shifter...

For my 99 gsr, the bottom of the shifter is wider than any shifter I've seen. What did you use to take up the extra space between the bearing and the other end of the shifter linkage?

if you used alot of washers then it sounds like the same thing. how does it feel shifting? do you have to keep lubing it up?
The DC Sports short throw shifter comes with a special extension that fills the extra gap on the GSR shift linkage. It is basically a trumped up washer that I believe fits onto the left side of the shifter.

For what it is worth...

alright, maybe im thinking of something else. what i did was i got a civic short shifter that left a 1/2" gap. i just put a lot of washers in there, then i think it was petroleum(sp?) grease, tightened it up, and its been working fine since.
