MM i usually haven't been here in a while but. you know the prelude is heavy not much of engine upgrade you can do. BUt..... Has any of you ever though of saving up money and droping a pilot engine in it? V6 in a prelude would work. There is my 2 cents

its not that heavy, i have a 4th gen, and they weigh in at about 2866lbs, where as the 99-00 civic si is around 2600. Also, there are many upgrades you can do, its just a little harder to find. Dropping in a v6 in all honesty wouldnt be smart. To much money and in the end you could probably squezze better numbers out of the h22a.
So you would rather squeeze little crap into a 4banger then have a v6? riiiiiiggghtttttttttt
Yah i will take the civic Si over the suburu Sti NOT

the prelude's engine is a performance-tuned engine, unlike that in the pilot's. sure the pilot's engine may have more power, but can it withstand the beating that people put on engines such as the prelude's? many of us are comfortable takin the tach needle past 8000, and keeping it that fore extended periods of time. can you do that in a pilot's engine and get away with it? (well obviously not revving it at 8000, but you get the point). and will it fit? you'd probably have to mount it longitudely with major custom work just to fit in the bay. and if you can do that, then you have to worry about transferring the power to the front wheels somehow. and what about weight distribution. the car will be so front heavy, well so much for the prelude's handling. you ever see a CRX with the h22 swap racin around road courses? no, cthe car handles like crap coz its weight distribution is so biased towards the front. i dont' know, it just doesn't seem right. not worth it IMO.
