No. It's an NA 5.7L OHV V8 w/ 405 hp (385 hp in 2001).

naturally aspirated......not turbo'd or supercharged

Is he going to get a 2006 Z06? Those are 427s (7.0L) with 500hp. Mid 11's stock sounds good to me.

oh thank god!! i thought the z07 was a 6.0l 500hp engine! phew i thought gm was doing something amazing getting 83hp /l with only pushrods. but its back to a more realisitc 71hp/l.

high hp/L is not attainable on emmisions legal large displacement engines.
