If I use a stock LS motor or ZC motor, how much psi will you go..

I am going to make a custom one..
T3/04b turbo ( or smaller..)
450 cc injecter
performance oil pump
B off valve
Intercooler..

..go around 7-8 psi...

Do you guy think it will work...please give me some suggestion...

yes, or you can use 6 psi if you are worried. i would go ls if i where to do it tho.

Yeah I would go LS if I were to boost. I've heard everything from the transmission to the internals were stronger than the ZC. As for boost, 8lbs. I've heard is safe for a daily driver, just as long as fuel, timing, and ignition is up to par.

i dunno if any of you have seen the rods of a ZC but when i replaced mine they seriously are barely bigger than a bic pen!

deffinately ls if i were u a 94+ ls they have forged pistons and rods unlike teh 93-90 any q's just ask i know alot about the ls motor im debating on NA lsvtec lsvtecturbo or just lsturbo

You already have the ZC, so why not turbo that and then go from there? If you break it, then you can decide whether you want to build it up or go for the LS.

good thing your getting a performance oil pump!


i think you could run 8 or 9 without worries.
its all about tuning tho, you could blow the motor running 4psi with crappy tuning and run as much as 15psi with good tuning.
