im trying to get the needles off of the tach.. does anyone know how to do this.. do i just pull them out or do they need to be twised?

Why would you want to take the needles off? Are you installing new gauges? If you are, you dont need to take the needles off. What you gotta do is slide the guages over the stock ones. Btw the needles dont come off and if you do manage to get it off it aint goin back on properly.

really? i was trying to put these on.. http://www.importcarpartsplus.com/Needles.htm they are little rings that go underneath the neeldles and need to get them off to put them under the needle.. the instructions that came with the kit arn't that clear..

so how would i go about instaling these things..

Are the rings flexible at all? if they are then you could probably slide them over the needles. If not, i dont really know how to do it then. But i can tell you NOT to take your needles off. If you do your gonna be buying a new gauge cluster.

damn.. the rings aren't that fleaxable.. the hole is too small to fit over the center part of the needle..

well thanks anyways.. ill be searching the rest of the forum and see what i can find and ill email the guy who sold them to me how to do this right.. i was in the middle of istalation but got discouraged..
