Will games from the uk work in us ps2's? If so is it just plug and play or is there a chip needed? Or could a game shark or similar device allow me to play? I know that the game shark would allow me to play jap. games on the ps1. Thanks in advance.

i don't think that they would work off of the bat.

because North America is NSTC Region 1. I think every major continent is a different region. So no it would not play unless you have it chipped.
